The Rev. Dr. Pamela Anderson Hall
Pastor Pam has been the Lead Pastor at Emmanuel since July 2010. Previously Pastor Pam has served as pastor of several UMC’s in eastern Florida, and as the Director of Community Outreach for the North East District. She was born in Savannah, GA, but grew up in Florida. She and her family on both sides are all long time members of the United Methodist Church.
Pastor Pam received a Bachelor of Education, followed by a Masters in Education and a Masters in Counseling. She completed her Masters level theological studies at the Methodist Theological School of Ohio in 1999, prior to starting ordained ministry here in The Florida Conference of the UMC. She had previously served as a staff lay minister in the areas of discipleship, small group ministry, singles ministry, and congregational care at several UMC’s.
Her doctoral studies were focused on Wesleyan small groups as a process for church revitalization, studying at United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio.
She is married to Jim Hall, and they have three children; Mitchell, Andrew, and Alana. As a family they have spent much time camping and traveling around the world to encounter diverse peoples and cultures.
