Chancel Choir
A true musical family of singers, dedicated to spreading God's word through the power of music. The Chancel Choir of Emmanuel United Methodist Church helps to lead worship at our 11:00 am “Classic Service” each Sunday with Hymns, Anthems, Introits, Psalters and Special Music. The Chancel Choir also provides several full scale cantatas each year with a live orchestras as well as additional community singers. We invite you to learn more about our choir and join us for worship. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in singing. We typically rehearse every Wednesday night from 7:30-8:45
Puppet Ministry
Puppets are a joy for young and old alike! These caricatures come to life to bring us messages during worship. This ministry is great if you want to be involved without being “in the spotlight.” There are lots of “behind the scenes” ways to show your support. If you are interested, contact Tara Sullivan at office@emmanuelumc.net.
Wee Worship Dancers
Carefully choreographed movement is set to purposeful music to create an offering like no other. These contributions to Sunday worship are rehearsed with meticulous attention to detail. If God is leading you to be a part of the movement ministry, contact Movement Coordinator Wendy Chapman at office@emmanuelumc.net.
Godz Rodz
This amazing ministry uses movement and dowel rods to create breathtaking visual splendor leaving much of the interpretation to the worshipper’s imagination. Contact Wendy Chapman at office@emmanuelumc.net.

“1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.2 Worship the LORD with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs. 3 Know that the LORD is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, the sheep of his pasture.” –Psalm 100:1-3
Our Spirit-filled and musically relevant praise band leads each morning contemporary service at 9:15am. Playing everything from today’s contemporary Christian radio hits to the grand old hymns of the faith (with a modern twist), our band is sure to start off your Sunday with a GOD-centered BANG! Come out and join us!
Handbell Choir
Love shiny brass that makes beautiful music? Think you might be? Enjoy working in a team atmosphere, ringing our praise to God? Then our Bell Choir might just be the place for you! The Emmanuel Hand bell choir meets in our sanctuary on Wednesday nights at 6:30 and rings throughout the year for both our casual and classic services. Our group also performs in the community and for our seasonal cantatas. We use 4 octaves of beautiful MalMark Brass bells in our performances. From the beginner to the experienced ringer, ages 14 and up, we invite you to join us in making our "joyful noise".
Technical Ministry
Lights! Camera ! Action! If you are technical savvy, being involved with the sound, video and lighting is a way for you to share your gifts with Emmanuel UMC. If you want to be a part of this rewarding ministry, contact Michelle Langford at office@emmanuelumc.net for information.
Do you know a child who loves to sing? Emmanuel United Methodist church’s children's choir is made up of kids ages 3-13 and performs at our “Casual” and “Classic Service” throughout the year and for many special seasonal events. We provide children with exceptional choral music instruction and performance experiences they can get nowhere else in the area. Our Children’s Choir also performs with our Chancel Choir for our seasonal Cantatas! Seasonal practices Sunday afternoon at 4pm in Room 10, are God-Focused, educational, child centered, and age appropriate. We believe in having fun while we learn to praise our Lord through song and motion!
