I’m New
Emmanuel Church is a church in Melbourne, FL, in the Eau Gallie area.
We know often when you visit a new church it can make you feel a little anxious…what to wear, where to park, what about the kids…we’ve asked those same questions too. Please know we will do our best to make your Emmanuel experience welcoming and worry free. We look forward to meeting you!
Where to go?
Eau Gallie Blvd. east of Wickham Road. 2800 Eau Gallie Blvd. Melbourne, FL 32935 // Directions
What time?
There are two different Sunday morning services; Casual service at 9:15am and Classic service at 11:00am.
What to wear?
Feel free to leave your tie on the rack and choose what makes you comfortable. Business casual is fine or even flip flops and jeans if you prefer. What you wear isn’t nearly as important as who you are.
Where to park?
When you drive into our parking lot, there are some prime parking spots saved for visitors right in front of the blue awning entrance to the lobby area.
On your way in…
You will meet our greeters when you walk through the doors, please feel free to let them know if you need help finding your way around.
What about the kids?
Your children are very important to us and we strive to create a safe environment for them to learn about God’s love. All of our children’s ministry volunteers have been background checked and trained so that your child will have a safe and fun experience here.
The Nursery/Pre-school area, in Rooms 1 & 2 is our ministry for kids newborns – Pre-K and is available from 9:00 through the end of the 11:00 worship service. You can find this ministry either by looking to the right of the blue entrance awning as you enter the sanctuary and going into Room 1 or 2. Katie, Paige, and Devyn look forward to caring for your kids.
Then our Childrens’ Church ministry for kids ages Kindergarten-5th Grade. It begins at 11:00 and runs until the close of the 11:00 service (about 12:00). You’ll find wonderful volunteer teachers and a fun morning by going down the side walk between the classrooms and the large Corton Hall building. The kids meet in rooms 14 and 15. Both of these are wonderful environments designed just for your children!
What happens when I come in the lobby?
Greeters will open doors for you, and invite you to share in the Open Door Café. We have free coffee and lovely pastries to give you a chance to have some conversation with some of our folks. It’s a relaxed time meet and greet both members of the church and our other visitors, and we can’t wait to meet you!
What’s the service like?
It is our desire to create an opportunity for you to connect with God every Sunday morning. The 9:15 Casual service begins with music led by our band and praise team. The 11:00 Classic service is led by a choir and fabulous grand piano accompaniment. We have frequent guest musicians from among local talented artists. Words will be on the screen for you to follow along. Once a month we share in Holy Communion and everyone is welcome to participate. Pastor Pam Hall is our pastor and her messages are easy to understand, wherever you are on your faith journey. Our services are usually just a little more than hour long.
On your way out…
Be sure to stop by the Visitors Kiosk in The Lobby as we would love to meet you and answer any questions you might have. Our welcoming volunteers have a great little gift for you, too, when you drop off your yellow visitor card from the back of the pew. We’d love to help you get connected here at Emmanuel!
